This flagship store concept was developed independently as part of a mentorship program at Samsonite and presented to executive leadership. While the project was completed within the mentorship initiative, all research, strategy, concept development, spatial planning, and design execution were led entirely by me.
The project began with extensive research into Samsonite's global retail landscape, evolving consumer expectations, emerging retail technologies, and macro trends shaping wellness, hospitality, and experiential environments. I also drew inspiration from firsthand observations of retail, cultural, and public spaces I have experienced around the world, exploring how different environments create memorable, human-centered experiences.
From these insights, I envisioned a next-generation flagship that reimagined how the brand could connect with customers through immersive storytelling, sustainability, and adaptable retail experiences. I led every phase of the project, from strategic research and concept development to space planning, customer journey mapping, and visual storytelling.
To communicate the vision effectively, I incorporated AI-generated imagery as a visualization tool to explore layouts, materials, atmosphere, and experiential moments. These assets supported the presentation while maintaining complete creative ownership of the design direction and overall concept.
The final proposal demonstrated my ability to combine strategic research, multidisciplinary design, spatial thinking, and emerging technologies to create a forward-looking retail experience that aligns business objectives with meaningful human interaction.
